Day 17:
Today I did not go into the office because I finished up my hours in there, but I also needed to take time to go over both my final paper and my presentation. I took around an hour and a half to make finishing touches to both of my assignments, and I am happy with my final product. I am looking forward to seeing my peers presentations tomorrow, as well as see what they did during their senior projects. I am also looking forward to presenting my slideshow and notes to faculty, staff, and students around the community. Although I am happy that senior project is almost over, I am also a bit sad that I won't be able to work with the patients again. During my 3 and a half weeks in the office, I built a strong bond with many people around the Andover community, and always looked forward to seeing them come in every other day. In the end, I am thankful I was fortunate enough to work with Diane and Hannah, and am excited to move forward in my career with the experience I got from Senior Project.

Day 16:
Today was a very entertaining day in the office since I was able to finally go in the afternoon and work with my fellow students. There were many more laughs and jokes thrown around in the office. This afternoon definitely had a different energy than the morning sessions, and I was a bit more comfortable since I was around people I knew. I was able to stretch some of my students out, as well as lead them threw circuits that pushed them to their limits. Although these circuits were physically tough for these patients, they pushed through and helped themselves on the road to recovery. The students were also easier to work with because their bodies are more capable of taking on more. I was very excited to wrap up my time in the office, and looking forward to finishing my presentation as well as present it on Wednesday to the community.

Weekly Reflection #3:
As my third and final full week of Senior Project concluded, I reflected on my time in the office, and how much I was going to miss the learning experience as well as the patients coming in and out everyday. I didn’t realize I would create these “mini” bonds/friendships with these patients, and also did not realize how helpful they were when telling me about their stories and their injuries. During this last full week, I continued to take down notes of new exercises and stretches I was learning as well as new patients and their full evaluations. I also had my final quiz of Senior Project on Thursday, and I got another 100%. This quiz was on the ligaments (anterior cruciate ligament, etc.)  and tendons (popliteus tendon) in the knee, as well as the bones and bone structures in the knee. I also began to work on both my slideshow, gathering materials for my table at Express Fest, and work on my 1,000 word paper that is due on Tuesday. I am excited for Express Fest because I get to finally share my work with the community as well as wrap up my senior year!
This final week really pushed me towards achieving my goals to the fullest as well as allowed me to sit back and continue to be the student I am. I was able to give exercises and stretches to patients as well as stretch out a patients hamstring, something I thought I would not do at the beginning of this project. I continued to shadow Diane and gain as much information as I could from her, writing down everything she told me. I also gained a lot of experience by giving patients exercises as well as stretching out a patient. I am sad that Senior Project went by so quickly, but very thankful for Diane allowing me to come into the office and learn about the PT field. I will continue to push during these last two days and take the information I learned during these past 3 and a half weeks and apply it when I am studying similar subjects in college!

Day 15:
Today was also just a regular Friday morning with the usual patients in. It did seem slow at first, but more patients started to flow in and out. There were no new patients today, so I did not have to observe any new patient evaluations. I was able to lead one patient through a circuit to strengthen their quads and hamstring. The circuit consisted of three exercises: wall sits, mini squats with a ball squeeze, and bosu squats, all for 30 seconds each. The patient did this 3 times, and seemed to be pretty tired afterwards, but it was good since they needed to strengthen their legs back up again. On Monday, I am looking forward to working with the students and helping them recover from their injuries. I am also looking forward to wrapping up Senior Project and presenting my slideshow to the community next Wednesday!

Day 14:
Today started out by greeting the usual patients that are in on Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. I sat down and talked with the patients while they were recovering from their injuries. As the day went on, I continued to take notes as well as observe Diane and her work. There were no new evaluations today, but I was able to meet some of Diane's patients that I had never met before. Although today was not slow with the constant flow of patients, it always seemed as if there was a patch of free time, allowing me to review my notes and such. I also took the knee quiz today, and got an 100%. I studied for quite a long time in preparation for the quiz, and it sure did pay off. That was also my final quiz, so it was nice to end on a higher note. I am looking forward to my last three days in the office, and excited for next week when I get to work with the students.

Day 13:
The office was closed, so today was an off day. Due to the fact that I have a quiz tomorrow, I studied for an hour this morning. The quiz is on the anterior and posterior views of the knee, including all of the anatomy. Some of the anatomy includes the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, the medial and lateral condyles, the medial and lateral meniscus, etc. Although this quiz will be harder than my previous one, I feel that I can still get above a 95% on this one. Other than the quiz, tomorrow will be a normal day of shadowing and observing. I am looking forward to getting back into the office for my last two morning sessions, since next week will be in the afternoon!

Day 12:
Today started out just like the rest of them. There were a lot of the regular patients in the office, all still trying to get back to full strength. There was a new patient though, who had an initial evaluation for a foot injury, so I was able to watch that evaluation and take notes. It seems as if a lot of new patients have been coming to the office lately, which is nice for me since I get to see new injuries and the recovery process these patients go through in order to regain strength. Tomorrow is a day in which I do not have to go in, so I will study for my quiz which I have on Thursday. I am looking forward to wrapping up Senior Project, and have already started to put my slideshow together. My slideshow will feature pictures, as well as different injuries I saw and the exercises and treatment needed on those different regions. I look forward to Thursday and am excited to take my quiz!
